Who we are

This site is operated by Heritage Platform Group, Inc. (“Heritage,” “we,” or “us”), based in Santa Clara, California. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, inquiries and role applications.

Information we collect

We collect: information you give us (name, company, email, phone, and the answers or message you submit); professional details you choose to share; and usage and device information collected automatically (such as IP address, browser, pages viewed, and referring links).

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, deliver the tool or materials you asked for, review role applications, keep the site secure, meet our legal obligations, and follow up with you about working together. We do not sell or rent your information.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics service receives information about your visit. Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard server information, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the referring page, to run and secure the site. A few pages set a session cookie that the page needs in order to work; it is not used to track you across other sites. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information in order to deliver them. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

AI tools

Nothing you submit on this site is sent automatically to an artificial-intelligence service. Our team may use AI tools to help us read, organise and reply to messages.

Who we share it with

We share information with service providers who help us run the site and our work, so they can do that work for us. These include our hosting and email providers, which store our records and carry our email, and the software our team uses to read, organise and reply to messages, which can include AI tools. Your browser also connects to Google Fonts, as described above. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users, or the public. We do not sell your information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Role applications

If you apply for a role, we collect the contact information, work history, qualifications, application answers and resume you choose to submit. We use them to assess your application and contact you about it. We have not yet set a fixed period for keeping applications; we keep them on file until you ask us to delete them or we delete them ourselves. You can request access, correction or deletion using the contact details below.

How long we keep it

We have not yet set fixed periods for keeping information. What you send through this site is kept in our records database and our company email until you ask us to delete it or we delete it ourselves. When we delete your information at your request, we remove your record and any file you attached. Copies can remain for a time in email we have sent or received, in the log we keep to block spam, and in backup copies of our records, until those are deleted.

How we protect it

We protect your information with administrative and technical safeguards: the site uses encrypted connections, our stored records and files are not public, and reaching them requires a password. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have given us at any time by emailing info@heritageplatformgroup.com. Deletion works as described under How long we keep it. You can opt out of follow-up at any time.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to access and receive a copy of it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email info@heritageplatformgroup.com; we will verify your request before we act on it, and you may use an authorized agent. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may also ask about information shared with third parties for their own marketing; we do not share information that way.

Children’s privacy

The site and our work are meant for business owners and professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

We are based in the United States. If you use the site from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers or the people who work with us are located. This policy applies wherever it is processed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you.
